North Staffs Angling Work Parties and Community Work
North Staffs Angling is committed to keeping our pools and surrounding community areas clean, safe, and welcoming for both our members and local residents.
This page has been created to share the progress of the work taking place across our waters. We invite you to follow our journey and see the effort, care, and dedication that goes into maintaining and improving our pools.
Jammie's Pool
After recently taking ownership of Jammie’s Pool, we are proud to have a dedicated team and strong support from the local community. Together, we are beginning the clean‑up work, marking the first steps toward restoring Jammie’s to its former glory.
Jammie's Pool
Welcome to our 2 new Bailiffs Matt and Ivan who have already started with a bang. Amazing work done to sort out the drainage at Jammies Pool and they have put in a lot of graft over the last weekend of February 2026, a great start to getting the water back to its former glory with lots more work planned for the future. Awesome work Ivan and Matt and welcome to the team.
Shuckers Pool
Our dedicated team have been completing some much needed work this last few weeks over at Shuckers Pool in order to make it a great pool for our coarse Anglers and Junior members.
Work has already been completed to improve the safety and access around the pool as a new Bridge has been built so that you can safely get around to the pegs to the left side of the pool.
An additional peg is under way and improvements are been made to the existing pegs, to stop erosion of the banks and to make sure the pegs are safer for our members to use.
In addition to this, the pool has been re stocked with 2000 silvers including Roach, Rudd, Perch and some small Carp also, along with some some good sized Bream.
The lovely new Bridge to enable access to the pegs to the left of the pool. The team have done an amazing job building this over the last couple of weekends, and it looks great too !!!
